Alice in wonderland encount project 1

 This whole project is about how Alice goes through Wonderland and meets a variety of different characters in Wonderland.

The final product will be an art book that the audience can tear each page out and frame on their wall. They also have text on the back of each print quoting how she meets these characters from the book.

What I did first is to pick scenes from the book that I could illustrate for the final product.

These are the mood board I made to help develop the illustrations.

scraped this illustration as I didn't have enough time to finish but it was Alice's first meeting with the ribbit. 

This painting was done in a3 and pained in gouache and coloured pencil, there redone I went with couches was I couldn't erase carbon paper transfer from the watercolour paper and my best way to save this painting was to paint it in gouache but I think this whole piece came out amazingly.

Both of these paintings were done in a4 size as a3 took too much time to finish and I didn't want to lose more time in finishing this project, what I used to make these are watercolours and coloured pencils. the only problem I was having with these two paintings it was hard to do their little detail on a small scale but I did manage and tried not to rush it and it came out fine.

Then I took all three paintings to be scanned and edited in Photoshop to fix any mistakes and brighten the colours.

These are patterns I made to go on there back of the print with the text of scenes from the book.
