power and conflict poems for project 2

Image
This is the second project that I have continued from last semester to the final product. This project is called Power and Conflicts I wanted to create multiple illustrations of different emotions of power and conflict. I wanted all the artwork to be digital as I wanted to experiment and explore the skill and how I can improve on it. Mood board to help to fix the poems I have done last semester. The first draft of the pomes from last semester.   This piece was done but I realise the size is all wrong I need all illustrations to be portrait so what I need to do is extend it and add more to it.  I did this piece last year and I only need to fix the colours as they are too dark and hard to see the textures. In both of the pieces I was having problems with the perspective so I asked for advice on what I needed to improve, which was to get rid of anything that make the image too busy. as you can see I have improved the perspective and brightened the image so u can. see all the text...

But what I also found was a myth tyats was a battle between the dragon and the elephant. In witch the dragon wraps around and bits ther elephant causing it to fall over and crush the dragon bother animal dyed and their blood being combined made ther colour vermilion. I did a couple of sketch for this story as it was a interesting myth about the colour I wanted to illustrated this as my colour story This is what I ended up with I wanted to draw the this scene of the drying coiled around the elephant. What I use are oil pastels, watercolour and gouache to make this piece. Then I scanned them and ...
